The Tamil Welfare Organisation Stoke was established since 2010. We are voluntary and community Organisation, based in Longport Stoke-On-Trent, in the county of Staffordshire.

Our Objectives
Foster the wellbeing of The Tamil Community, living in and around Stoke On Trent and set up facilities for :-
> Support the development of linguistic and fine artistic talents of Tamils.
> Support the development of athletic talents.
> Establish a Temple of worship for Hindus.
> Support the needs of the Senior citizens.
> Provide legal advice to vulnerable and the elderly.
> Understand, advise and meet the needs of youth community by establishing necessary support for them.
Also relive the poverty of the Kith and kins living in Sri Lanka.
Our Mission
• Propagate the conception of the Universal brotherhood.
• Propagate and foster Tamil and other Tamil's cultures and to encourage the study of Tamil language and literature in particular through the medium of publications of books, magazines, newspapers, extinct Tamil and English.
• Establish schools, libraries, study groups and Tamil and English classes for adults and children.
• Organize classes and training for women to help them integrate into the multi-cultured society.
• Organize youth activities in the fields of music, sports, drama, recreation, etc.
• Celebrate Harvest Festival (Pongal), New Year, Christmas, annual show, and other Tamil festivals.
• Provide social, welfare and advisory services to the members and others.
• Establish a community centre to carry out these objective successfully.
• To up- lift the Tamil community living in Britain through education, employment advice and social inclusion.
• To integrate Tamil society living in Britain into British way of life by providing various training classes, employment oriented courses, mental and physical health development, children's activities and lectures.
